• Media Blasting replaces the need to use toxic chemicals, and is a natural deodorizer for fire restoration on wood, brick or concrete almost eliminating smoke odor.
• A protective film is left on bare metal so flash rusting will not occur for months if kept dry.
• Baking Soda is Environment Friendly for user, pets, etc. Soda is water soluble, therefore residue left behind can be washed away with a simple garden hose. In most cases it can be washed directly into sewer, acting as a beneficial buffer.
• Zero prep work. Surfaces restored to better than new.
• Dust is almost nil by adding a jet stream of water.
• Total control of blasting depth and abrasiveness. Surfaces can be taken down to any desired level, so there is no painstaking scraping involved. Even Gel-coats on Fiberglas boats are safe.
• There are no paint chips left behind. The soda pulverises the paint, so it can't be seen.
• Cornblasting can used in the interior of homes or buildings creating almost no dust because it wont splinter like most medias.
• Corncob media is as hard as iron, yet soft enough where glass will never be damaged.
• Soda is safe for use on window seals, bearings, hydraulic rams. It can easily and rapidly remove paint around hydraulic rams without pitting the ram.
• The sand we use for rust removal or other tough surfaces is silica free. It is a type of slag which is mined from the earth.
